At the end of this course, the students; 1) define the general features of screenplays. 2) discuss how narrative styles are used in the screenplays. 3) analyze movie scripts. 4) write screenplays by taking into account the screenplay elements and phases.

General characteristics of scripts. Writing a script, elements and stages of the script. Subject, theme, proposition, story, narration, character creation, plot, conflict, time, place, etc. elements and the creation of these elements in scripts.
