At the end of this course, the students; 1) explain concepts related to art and aesthetics and the relationship between art and education. 2) make evaluations about art and aesthetic theories. 3) analyze works of art in the context of art theory and criticism. 4) evaluate the artistic and aesthetic aspects of oral, written and visual materials.

COURSE DEFINITION
Art, fine arts, crafts and culture, arts and education. Art, creativity and artwork. Philosophy of art and aesthetics, art and aesthetic theories, art criticism, art history, art in pre-modern, modern and post-modern periods. Art and social context, art and everyday life. Turkish-Islamic art-aesthetics and works of art. The position of art and craftsmen in the process of social change, art, aesthetics and morality.
