COURSE DEFINITION	The aim of this course is to familiarise students with basic Mathematical terminology (in English) and to facilitate the use of English resources in Mathematics by students. In all lessons, after the introduction of basic terminology, translation exercises on English texts and listening and comprehension exercises on English videos will be carried out.
COURSE CONTENTS	WEEK TOPICS 1st Week Numbers and Number Operations 2nd Week Sets and Set Operations, Basic Geometric Objects, 3rd Week Equations, Inequalities and Identities 4th Week Angles according to their measures, Some metamathematical terms (Postulate, Axiom, Proposition, Lemma, 5th Week Theorem, Proof, Argument), Some abbreviations 6th Week Polygons, Triangles and their elements, Quadrilaterals and their characterisations according to their sides and angles. 7th Week Basic terminology related to circles and conics 8th Week Basic Mathematical Terminology about Functions and Graphs 9th Week Midterm exam 10th Week Euclidean Constructions and Terminology Related to Triangle Centres 11th Week Terminology Related to Transformations in Plane 12th Week Basic Mathematical Terminology Related to Trigonometry 13th Week Translation practices 14th Week Translation practices 15th Week Translation practices
