At the end of this course, the students; 1) Use field-specific instructional technologies effectively, 2) Know and use specific mathematical softwares-tools, 3) Know the design principles of field-specific materials, 4) Design two and three dimensional and digital materials, 5) Evaluate instructional materials within the framework of design principles.

COURSE DEFINITION
The students taking this course are expected to be able to define the concepts related to instructional technologies and material development, design field-specific materials by considering the principles of message design, use them in teaching processes, and evaluate the prepared materials in terms of process and product. In this course; using field-specific instructional technologies; software types and purposes of use; design and development principles of materials to be used in teaching the field; determining material needs; designing two and three dimensional teaching materials; worksheets; transparencies; VCD, DVD, MP3 and MP4 files etc. development of teaching materials; evaluation of classroom applications for different teaching materials will be discussed.
