1) Physical, educational, visual design and language expression features and standards that should be in the course book
2) Examines appropriateness of the contents of the textbooks
3) Language, suitability to student level, format, attractiveness, contribution to meaningful learning, ease of use in teaching, etc. investigations from angles.
4) Analyzes the mathematics books of different publishers according to certain criteria

COURSE DEFINITIONStudents taking this course are expected to have knowledge about the physical, educational, visual design and language expression features and standards that mathematics textbooks should have and the suitability of the content of the textbooks to the curriculum. In this course, some of the existing textbooks are examined in terms of content, language, suitability for student level, format, attractiveness, contribution to meaningful learning, ease of use in teaching; the development of book content in accordance with the criteria in a determined grade level and learning area.

3rd Week Determining the textbook review criteria of the Board of Education
4th Week Analysis of the textbook in terms of formal appearance
5th Week Examination of the textbook in terms of content
6th Week Analyzing the textbook in terms of teaching methods and strategies
7th Week Examination of the textbook in terms of measurement and evaluation
8th Week MIDTERM EXAM
9th Week Determination of textbook review criteria (In-class work)
10th Week Evaluation of selected textbooks (Report will be given)
11th Week Evaluation of selected textbooks (Report will be given)
12th Week Book Design Project_Draft presentations
