COURSE DEFINITIONThe students taking this course are expected to have knowledge about the national and international curricula of secondary school mathematics course, their approach to learning and teaching, their content, the basic mathematical skills targeted in the curriculum and evaluate their relationship with other courses and educational levels. In this course, basic concepts related to curricula; its development from past to present; the approach, content and skills that the current curriculum aims to develop; learning and sub-learning areas; the distribution and boundaries of achievements according to classes, its relationship with other courses and primary and high school mathematics curricula; methods, techniques, tools, materials used; measurement and evaluation approach; teacher qualifications and international curricula.
