2) Comprehend the characteristics of the activities (tasks) used in teaching mathematics

4) Develop sample activities (tasks) on different mathematics topics

COURSE DEFINITIONStudents taking this course are expected to have knowledge about the activities used in mathematics teaching and the principles of application of these activities and to develop sample activities. In this course, the concept of activity, the purpose and importance of using activities in mathematics teaching, the characteristics of activities used in mathematics teaching; issues to be considered in preparing and implementing activities; evaluating sample activities; activity development; measurement and evaluation in activity-based classes.
