COURSE DEFINITION
Students taking this course are expected to investigate new methods used in teaching and learning mathematics, apply various methods and discuss the results. In this course, the importance of using materials in mathematics teaching, the importance of using technology in the mathematics classroom, following the innovations used in national and international education, conducting research on recently developed theories on topics such as students' cognitive development processes, examining the results of international exams such as TIMSS and PISA and discussing the results on different variables, examining the mathematics education of different countries, adapting technological tools developed specific to learning areas to the content of the lesson plan.
