At the end of this course, the students; 1) able to investigate the convergence of the sequences. 2) able to know the convergence citerions of the series. 3) able to investigate the convergence of the sequences. 4) able to distinguish the concepts of pointwise convergence and uniform convergence. 5) able to write down the power series expansion of the given functions.

COURSE DEFINITION
Sequences, convergence of sequences, monotone sequences. The concept of series, divergence and convergence of series, positive term series and convergence criteria. Alternating series. Absolute and conditional convergence; Function sequences and the concept of uniform convergence; Function series, pointwise and uniform convergence in function series; Power series, convergence interval of power series, power series representations of functions; Taylor and Maclaurin series and applications.
