LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT	At the end of this course, the students; 1) will be able to know certain methods of teaching English. 2) will be able to use methods appropriate to the student's level in teaching English. 3) will be able to use motivating methods to speak English in the classroom. 4) will be able to prepare interesting games and materials in teaching English. 5) will be able to become aware of contemporary practices in English language teaching and renew themselves.

COURSE DEFINITION	Comparison of Turkish and English teaching, approaches, methods, techniques and practices used in teaching English at the primary school level, relevant topics, achievements and examples of activities appropriate to the 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade primary school foreign language curriculum.
