1) Learns the basic concepts and principles of development.
2) Acquires knowledge about the child's social and emotional, physical, cognitive development characteristics with a holistic approach in early childhood.
3) Becomes knowledgeable about the infancy period education program implemented in our country.
4) Gains information about infancy period education programs implemented worldwide.
5) Can plan activities that support development during infancy.
6) Gains knowledge about factors influencing infancy development.
7) Designs the infancy education process.

COURSE DEFINITIONThe objectives are to understand prenatal development characteristics, comprehend the characteristics of the newborn period, grasp the features of different developmental domains (physical, cognitive, social, and emotional) in early childhood, and become aware of factors influencing development.
