1) Understands the importance of preschool children's movement needs.
2) Uses appropriate methods and techniques for movement development studies.
3) Develops games that will support children's large muscle development.
4) Evaluates the development of children's motor skills

COURSE DEFINITIONAt the end of this course, students will learn about child motor development and its characteristics, the development of movement skills and physical abilities, the relationship between play and movement; Acquire skills for movement development according to age, planning educational environments for movement development, planning, implementing and evaluating movement activities appropriate to the preschool education program.

WEEKTOPICS
1st Week Meeting, sharing course content, course expectations, and explaining responsibilities
2nd Week Concepts related to development and their connections with motor development (growth, development, maturation, learning, readiness)
3rd Week Definition of motor development, basic concepts related to motor development (form, performance, movement, etc.)
4th Week Motor development areas
5th Week Factors affecting motor development
6th Week Lifespan movement development theory (Hourglass Model)
7th Week Growth and motor development characteristics between the ages of 0-6
8th Week Midterm
9th Week Examination of motor development items of developmental tests (DENVER, GEÇDA, EGE) Group studies
10th Week Examination of motor development items of developmental tests (DENVER, GEÇDA, EGE) Group studies
11th Week Sherborne Movement Development Program
12th Week Examining motor development area achievements and indicators in the pre-school education program,
13th Week Preparing and presenting activities for motor skill and movement development
14th Week Preparing and presenting activities for motor skill and movement development
