1) Explains the importance of early diagnosis and intervention programs
2) Explains the principles of needs analysis in early intervention studies.
3) Identifies children at risk and their environmental characteristics
4) Knows the features and principles of early diagnosis and intervention programs with family participation.
5) Explain comparatively the features of different programs

COURSE DEFINITIONAt the end of this course, students; Obtains information about early intervention programs, the reasons and necessity of their use, subject areas, early intervention programs prepared for children at risk or with behavioral problems, the prevalence of early intervention programs in Turkey and the world, comparison of programs, continuity and effectiveness.
