At the end of this course, the students; 1) Have knowledge about the aim and characteristics of child observation and assesment techniques. 2) Practice how to desing and document developmentally appropriate assessment for children. 3) Evaluate the documentations and reflective reports.

Bu dersin sonunda öğrenciler; çocuğu tanımanın önemi ve tanımanın boyutlarının gelişim alanlarına göre düzenlemelerini, tanıma teknikleri (gözlem, görüşme, projektif testler, kontrol listeleri, rubrikler) ilke ve yöntemlerini, çocuğu tanımaya ait farklı kültürlerdeki gelişimsel normların karşılaştırılmasını, normal gelişim gösteren çocukları tanımaya yönelik farklı etkinlikler geliştirmeyi irdeler.
