At the end of this course, the students; 1) Understands the importance of teaching science concepts in early childhood education. 2) Uses science teaching methods. 3) Compares basic science teaching methods in preschool period. 4) Produces activities for the development of science concepts. 5) Evaluates whether the activities used in teaching science concepts are developmentally appropriate.

COURSE DEFINITION | At the end of this course, students will be able to explain the basic concepts of early science education, develop developmentally appropriate science teaching plans in early childhood education, use appropriate teaching strategies for teaching science in early childhood, design appropriate science learning experiences and environments for young children, understand young children's science concepts and Examines the preparation of appropriate assessment tools to evaluate their development in skills.
