LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT At the end of this course, the students;
1) Explains the basic principles and concepts related to learning.
2) Evaluates the factors affecting learning in early childhood.
3) Interprets learning theories and approaches.

Designs the necessary environment and educational content for effective learning in early childhood.

COURSE DEFINITIONThey base theories such as behavioral learning theories, Social Learning Theories, Cognitive learning theories on the existing approaches in the field of early childhood education, and analysing these approaches by using the criteria as, the scientific philosophy (learning theories) on which they are based, the principles, the strategies they use, the learning methods and techniques, the learning environment,teacher role. And then they are expected making synthesi and producing their own early childhood education approaches by making a synthesis and taking the same criteria into consideration.

1st Week Meeting and Program Introduction
2nd Week Trying to understand the scientific foundations on which approaches to early childhood are based
3rd Week Analyze the early childhood approach according to its justification, scientific philosophy (learning theories), principles, strategies used, learning methods and techniques, learning environment, and teacher role criteria and prepare a presentation.
4th Week First presentations and evaluations

7th Week From the feedback obtained at the end of the first round evaluations
