LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT At the end of this course, the students;
1) Explains the importance and use of drama in education.
2) Defines drama.
3) Uses drama as a teaching method in education.
4) Describes the relationship between play and drama.
5) Applies activities with drama method in early childhood.
6) Plans a drama activity in line with the aims and outcomes of the course.
7) Applies the drama activity.

COURSE DEFINITIONOrigins and related definitions of the concept of drama; the relationship between drama and play, the relationship between drama and art fields, the history of drama practices in education; the structure and stages of drama practices in education; learning environment and teacher competencies for drama; measurement and evaluation in drama; sample drama studies in education; drama practices in different places; development and implementation of drama studies in education.
