At the end of this course, the students; 1) By the end of this course, students will acquire basic concepts related to parent involvement, 2) importance, aims and principles of parent education, 3) parent education models, family theories (Family System Theories, Social Relations Theory, Bioecological Theory, Structural Functional Theory), 4) parent education practices in Turkey and other countries, 5) planning, implementation and evaluation of parent education studies, methods and techniques used in parent education, 6) parent participation studies (parent communication studies, participation of the parent in educational activities, individual interviews, home visits), 7) Investigation of 0-36 months children and Integrated Parent Support Education Guide (EBADER) and Preschool Education Program and Integrated Parent Support Education Guide (OBADER) Education Program.
