At the end of this course, the students; 1) By the end of this course, students will acquire basic concepts and principles of development; 2) developmental characteristics of the prenatal and postnatal baby, 3) newborn care and feeding, 4) evaluation of factors affecting development, 5) cognitive, physical, psychomotor and language development in early childhood; preparation of actvities to support development areas.

COURSE DEFINITION
This course aims for prospective teachers to learn about the motor, cognitive, and language development characteristics of children during prenatal and early childhood periods (0-8 years).
