LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT At the end of this course, the students;
1) He/she has knowledge about the principles and scope of Emergency Management.
2) He/she learns to prepare an emergency plan with hazard and risk analysis.
3) He/she learns how to organize team work together by creating an emergency and disaster planning team.
4) He/she learns to interpret the 4th stage of disaster and emergency management, preparation and harm reduction and intervention and improvement activities.
5) He/she learns the basic concepts of disaster management.
6) He/she interprets legal arrangements related to disaster management.
7) He/she learns the elements of disaster management.
8) He/she learns be able to develop pre-disaster, education and awareness-raising projects.
