1) He/she will be able to explain general concepts of first aid.
2) He/she Be able to define the basic lif support.
3) He/she gains external cardiac massage and artificial respiration on the model.
4) He/she knows the types of firing.
5) He/she applys emergency transport techniques.
6) He/she knows and applys placement techniques on a stretcher.
7) He/she knows carrying rules of the injured in the vehicle.

COURSE DEFINITIONIn this lecture, basic principles of intervention to circulatory system interventions, artificial respiration and supportive care, bleeding control, shock, soft tissue trauma, musculoskeletal system, fractures and locomotor system injuries, shoulder and upper extremity injuries, pelvis and lower extremity injuries are emphasized.

4th Week First aid in case of bleeding
5th Week First aid in case of injuries
6th Week First aid in case of burning, freezing an hot shocks
7th Week First aid in case of fracture, dislocations an sprains
8th Week Midterm Exam
9th Week First aid in case of disorders of consciousness
10th Week First aid in case of poisoning
11th Week First aid for a foreign object in ear, nose an eye
12th Week First aid in suffocation
13th Week Carrying techniques of patient/wounded
14th Week Carrying techniques of patient/wounded
