COURSE DEFINITION
This course focuses on contemporary discussions of feminist geographies and develops a critical approach on the dialectical relationship between gender norms and the production and use of space to analyze established binary oppositions such as private-public, home-work, local-global. In this context, it comprehends and analyzes the production of differences and inequalities in space at different scales ranging from domestic spaces to public spaces and the city.
