At the end of this course, the students; 1) Students will have knowledge of the scope and discipline approach of anthropology. 2) They will have knowledge of sociology, culture and communication, economic systems, political systems, marriage and kinship, ethnicity and social stratification, socialization, and cultural anthropology such as gender and religion. 3) They will explain the basic themes of social anthropology, such as universalism, holism, integration, and cultural relativity, and the dissociations and disagreements between this discipline and other disciplines that examine humanity.

COURSE DEFINITION
Within the scope of this course, anthropological theories are examined with the aim of teaching the historical accumulation of social anthropology in the context of the concept of culture. Within the scope of the course, in which the main representatives and important texts of social anthropology are introduced, important discussions in the world and Turkish literature are also discussed. In this way, the students are introduced to methodological approaches related to social anthropology theories.
