COURSE DEFINITIONIn this course, analysis of the data collected in sociological researches within sociological studies is focused; and sociological explanation of social problems and concepts is discussed by working with surveys, in-depths interviews, observations and other scientific data collection methods.

6th Week Selection of Appropriate Statistics Techniques for Data Analysis, Creating SPSS Data File
7th Week SPSS commands and processing Steps
8th Week Mid-term (1st Report presentation)
9th Week Qualitative Research Techniques, Ethics and Qualitative Research in Field Studes
10th Week Focus Group Study and Participant Observation
11th Week Discourse Analysis and Oral History
12th Week Data Collection in Qualitative Research and Preparation of Interview Questions
