At the end of this course, the students; 1) Development process of Turkish sociology starting from the 19th century, is analyzed daily. 2) Students who take this course are expected to learn the history of Turkish sociology in relation with the socio-political history of Turkey. 3) Important sociologists, their contribution to the field and their studies are examined in comparison with Turkey's modernization process.

COURSE DEFINITION
In this course, the development processes of Turkish sociology are analyzed from the 19th century to the present. In the course, important sociologists, their contributions to the field and their studies are examined in comparison with Turkey's modernization process.
