COURSE DEFINITION | In this course, it is aimed that students learn the phenomenon of modernity and modernization theories and examine their reflections on Turkey. The emergence of the phenomenon of modernization, the social conditions of modernization, modernization theories, orientalism and the modernization process in Turkey are within the scope of the course. Turkey's modernization experiences are discussed within the framework of early and late modernization theories. |
