LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT At the end of this course, the students;
1) Count the phases of the cell cycle.
2) Use the terms of cell cycle phases, metabolisms and checkpoints correctly.
3) Explain the formation processes of programmed and damage-related cell death types.
4) Discuse the cell cycle and death in the context of different pathologies.
5) Discuse drug development methods against cell cycle-derived cancers.
6) Select the most appropriate analysis method and the methods used to analyze cell division and cell death under laboratory conditions.

COURSE DEFINITIONThis course aims to enable the student to understand all the cell cycle components and mechanisms and the different mechanisms of cell death.
