At the end of this course, the students; 1) Know historical development and basic definitions of biotechnology. 2) Know biotechnology applications and products at daily life industry, environment, food and agriculture fields. 3) Know biotechnology market, global and social effects and regulations of biotechnology. 4) Know basic principles of ethics and biosafety in order to assess biotechnology applications.
