LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT At the end of this course, the students;
1) Gains the ability to sing in harmony by performing the selected chamber music piece with different instruments
2) Achieves the ability to follow the parties of other instruments along with his/her own party

COURSE DEFINITIONLearning how to coherently play together, listen to each other and achieve a shared interpretation by bringing together instruments of different timbre and preparing distinguished pieces of the chamber music repertoire.
COURSE CONTENTS
WEEKTOPICS
1st Week Deciding on the chamber music piece and forming the ensemble.
2nd Week Deciphering and analysing the 1st movement of the chosen piece.
3rd Week Examining the rhythmic, harmonic and melodic elements of the 1st movement, establishing the main themes of the partitions and ensuring the balance between instruments.
4th Week Understanding the character of the entire 1st movement; deciphering the 2nd movement.
5th Week Examining the rhythmic, harmonic and melodic elements of the 2nd movement.
6th Week Creating collective coherency between instruments and understanding the character of the 2nd movement.
7th Week Repeating the 1st and 2nd movements, ensuring coherency between both movements.
8th Week MIDTERM
9th Week Deciphering and analysing the 3rd movement of the chosen piece.
10th Week Examining the rhythmic, harmonic and melodic elements of the 3rd movement, establishing the main themes of the partitions and ensuring the balance between instruments.
11th Week Understanding the character of the entire 3rd movement.
12th Week Creating collective coherency between instruments for the entire piece, going over the details for a correct and impressive interpretation.
13th Week Interpreting the piece according to it's stylistic characteristics.
14th Week Presenting these learned skills to an audience with a performance.
