At the end of this course, the students; 1) Understand and use the language of mathematics 2) Analyze and solve the problems encountered by mathematical thinking and derive conclusions and apply them 3) Know the basic mathematical concepts such as limit, derivative and integral a function and be capable to apply them in their field of study.

COURSE DEFINITION
Sets of numbers, absolute value and inequalities; the concepts of function, limit and continuity; differentiation, increasing and decreasing functions, first and second derivative tests, extreme value problems, L'Hospital's Rule, graphs of functions, inverse function, logarithmic and exponential functions will be covered.
