COURSE DEFINITIONThe aim of this course is to improve the student's abilities to write a fugue.

1st Week "Explaining the content and requirements of the course. Reminding the Stretto section writing techniques."
2nd Week "Basic modulation techniques used in the development pane."
3rd Week "Basic modulation techniques used in the development pane."
4th Week "Counterexposition pane."
5th Week "Counterexposition pane."
6th Week "Episode splits in development/counter-development panes."
7th Week "Basic strategies that can be implemented in the development pane."
8th Week "Basic strategies that can be applied in the development section. Determining the homework topics for the semester: The student writes a fugue until the end of the development section with a theme that he/she chooses from among the themes presented to him."
9th Week "Pedal point, ending (codetta) and soundtrack (episode) splits."
10th Week "Pedal point, ending (codetta) and soundtrack (episode) splits."
