COURSE DEFINITION	To be able to learn and analyze various musical works in terms of form structure.
COURSE CONTENTS	WEEK TOPICS 1st Week Introduction to the course 2nd Week Motive and phrase. 3rd Week Motive, phrase, inner cadences and one section song form. 4th Week One section song form and variations in the phrasing. 5th Week Period. Binary forms. 6th Week Binary forms. Binary forms used in Turkish music. Ternary forms. 7th Week Ternary forms. 8th Week Mid-term exam 9th Week Trio form. 10th Week Trio form. Introduction to rondo form. Small rondo form. 11th Week Small rondo form. Large rondo form. 12th Week Large rondo form. 13th Week Analysis in rondo form. Introduction to variation form. 14th Week Variation form.
