LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT	At the end of this course, the students; 1) will be able to know simple, compound and mixed measures, identify definitions and symbols about the concept of nuance, identify sound sources, know scales about various music types, and know accords, reverses and candances.

COURSE DEFINITION	Learns structuring in asymmetrical measures, learns three and four voice chords theoretically emotionally recognized. Learns the types of cadence, recognizes when they are played.
COURSE CONTENTS	WEEK TOPICS 1st Week Scope of the course. Asymetrical meters. Pieces with 5/8, 7/8, 9/8 time signatures. 2nd Week Root position major, minor, diminished, augmented triads. 3rd Week Inversion of triads. Figured bass notation. 4th Week Dynamics. 5th Week Pentatonic scales, whole-tone scales, chromantic scale, blues scale. 6th Week Root position seventh chords. 7th Week Inversion of the seventh chords. Figured bass notation. 8th Week Midterm. 9th Week Plagal, authenthic, imperfect, perfect cadences. 10th Week Deceptive cadence, extended cadence. 11th Week Identifying cadences. 12th Week Non-harmonic tones. 13th Week Identifying 3-note chords. 14th Week Identifying 4-note chords.
