LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT |
At the end of this course, the students; 1) Acknowledge the need for change in organizations and how organizations are coerced to change by their environments 2) Determine the areas of the organization where there is resistance to change and use techniques to resolve them 3) Knows the methods to diagnose the organizational environment 4) Knows the intervention methods and consultancy processes 5) Knows that organization development is a socio-technical system 6) Knows the methods to terminate the consultant-organization relationship in the post-intervention period

COURSE DEFINITION | In this course, the definition of organizational development, its meaning and its importance, the consultant-organization relationship, organizational development, process management, methods for group and intergroup relations, organizational culture, organizational transformation, the political aspect of the organization of the development process are covered. |
