LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT At the end of this course, the students;
1) Understand and use the language of mathematics

2) Analyze and solve the problems encountered by mathematical thinking and derive conclusions and apply them

3) Know the basic mathematical concepts such as derivative and integral function and be capable to apply them in their field of study.

COURSE DEFINITIONDefinite and indefinite integrals, matrices, determinants, systems of linear equations; functions of several variables: limit, differentiation and chain rule, gradient vector, tangent plane, extreme-value problems, the method of Langrange multipliers; double integrals.
