LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT |
At the end of this course, the students; 1) Should be able to identify and quantify benefits and costs of a project 2) Should know the prinsiples of quantification of benefits and costs of a project. 3) Should be able to shadow price the inputs and outputs of a project. 4) Should be able to identify, according to various project appraisal methods, the best alternative among projects. 5) Whenever more than one project can be implemented, he/she should be able to prioritize the projects according to various appraisal methods. 6) Should be able to identify the cost-effective alternative. 7) Should be able to appraise private sector projects. 8) Should be able to identify the best alternative under uncertainty using the various project evaluation methods.
