LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT	At the end of this course, the students; 1) Should be able to identify and quantify benefits and costs of a project 2) Should know the prinsiples of quantification of benefits and costs of a project. 3) Should be able to shadow price the inputs and outputs of a project. 4) Should be able to identify, according to various project appraisal methods, the best alternative among projects. 5) Whenever more than one project can be implemented, he/she should be able to prioritize the projects according to various appraisal methods. 6) Should be able to identify the cost-effective alternative. 7) Should be able to appraise private sector projects. 8) Should be able to identify the best alternative under uncertainty using the various project evaluation methods.

COURSE DEFINITION	This course mainly examines the analysis that shows the sum of the benefits such as financial gain against the costs of a project done by businesses.
