Profile of the Programme
This program trains economists who will work to conduct research and applications in various stages of economic life, and provides academic formation to individuals who will work in the public and private sectors by making use of quantitative techniques such as mathematics, statistics and econometrics within the framework of economic theory. Economics education covers two basic processes. The first of these is to teach the economic principles and tools to be used in post-university life and thus to raise the qualified workforce required by economic units trying to be successful in the rapidly changing global conditions. The second is to develop the ability to think systematically and independently, which can be useful in all areas of human life, and to provide students with scientific competence in economic issues. |
