COURSE DEFINITION
The main objective of this course is to examine how financial markets work in general. Functions of financial institutions, monetary theory, the interaction between money supply and financial markets, the bond market and the structure of interest rates are some of the topics that will be covered. Students who take this course also will learn how to interpret financial news they hear from media.
