LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT |
At the end of this course, the students; 1) Gains understanding of financial markets and how they function. 2) Familiarize themselves with financial instruments, markets, agents and major participants. 3) Learns about international regulatory and standard setting bodies. 4) Learns about the structure of the Turkish financial system 5) Gain a better understanding of the Turkish banking sector. 6) Discuss with recent topics of the Turkish banking system.

COURSE DEFINITION | Developing students' ability to interpret and analyze these issues by making students learning the basics of money and capital market instruments and institutions, the risks faced by financial institutions, international markets and their interaction, with a focus on international flows and global crises. |
