LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT At the end of this course, the students;
1) Define the concepts of international finance.
2) Discuss macroeconomic events and problems in an environment where there is international flow of capital and goods.
3) Interpret an economy's balance of payments.
4) Examine the functioning of foreign exchange markets and their interaction with the real economy.
5) Compare different international monetary systems.
6) Evaluate macroeconomic policies under different exchange rate regimes.
7) Discuss the international problems that arise with financial globalization.
