LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT	At the end of this course, the students; 1) Know the basic concepts related to statistics 2) Know how to choose a sample 3) Calculate the descriptive statistics 4) Organize and analyze the data set 5) Calculate the confidence interval for the parameter 6) Know the basic concepts of probability.

COURSE DEFINITION	The course, which aims to introduce mathematical statistics, includes variables and graphs, frequency distribution, measures of central tendency, measures of dispersion, moments, skewness and kurtosis, theory of probability,discrete probability distribution and continuous probability distributions.
