LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT At the end of this course, the students;
1) Define the basic concepts of macroeconomics.
2) Interpret real world events using macroeconomic analysis skills and its basic tools.
3) Illustrate the relationships between the basic concepts learned both graphically and mathematically.
4) Develop a solid understanding of causal relationships in theoretical models of the field.
5) Analyze and interpret the basic theoretical relationships in the data related to the field.

COURSE DEFINITIONThis course focuses on explaining and examining the basic concepts of macroeconomics. Measuring the country's income, unemployment, inflation, aggregate demand and supply, monetary and fiscal policies are among the main topics covered.
