At the end of this course, the students; 1) They have knowledge about the basic concepts and institutions of law. 2) They acquire comprehensive knowledge about concepts such as justice, freedom of will, legal action, sovereignty, contract, and legal personality. 3) They learn legal movements with their theoretical and historical foundations. 4) They learn the methods of interpretation. 5) Recognize the legal cultures. 6) Recognize the basic features of Anglo-american legal culture. 7) Recognize the basic features of Continental Europe. 8) Apprehend the historical importance of the reception. 9) Collate the similar and distinct features of legal thinking and ethical thinking. 10) Distinguish the normative statements from descriptive statements. 11) They comprehend the difference between fact and value. 12) Analyze the constructing elements of dogmatic legal knowledge. 13) Recognize the institutional phenomenon. 14) Apprehend the basics of legal principles. 15) Recognize the process of legal assumptions. 16) Comprehend the intellectual functioning of legal interpretation. 17) Recognize the kinds of interpretation. 18) Recognize the techniques of interpretation. 19) Configure the bases of reasoning. 20) Comprehends the concept of interpretive thinking.
