At the end of this course, the students; 1) This course firstly tries to introduce the factors such as material, function, construction, ergonomics, aesthetics, economy and production technology that affect the design of a movable furniture. After detailed research on today's furniture designs, students are expected to produce their own innovative solutions and design a furniture. Students will then produce the prototype of the furniture they designed with real materials and detail solutions in 1/1 scale. 2) Ability to design and realize public furnitures at scales within the scope of interior architecture discipline 3) Ability to apply designed furniture with real material and detail solutions 4) Ability to present the realized designs effectively with verbal, written and visual tools
