COURSE DEFINITION
In different branches of visual arts; By examining the stage and set design concept, it is aimed to comprehend its development in the historical process. Comparative applications will be made on the project by emphasizing studies in areas such as theatre, TV sets and film sets. International and domestic contemporary set designs will be examined. In stage and set design; The relationship between lighting, sound, visual effects, equipment elements and the exhibited work will be evaluated as a whole. In this course, students will analyze a selected movie set and convey its implementation on a theater stage of their choice through the project. Students; space-equipment relationship, flexible and changeable systems, and contemporary approaches used will present projects and presentations for evaluation. Film set analysis report, design sketches and posters will be submitted in the midterm exam. Project, presentation, poster and animation works will be presented at the final.
