LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT	At the end of this course, the students; 1) Analyze the continuity of the built environment in its past through architectural elements, materials, function and meaning, 2) Learn the terminology of space design and architectural history, 3) Gain the ability to make spatial analysis of historical buildings.

COURSE DEFINITION	This course aims to gain a critical view of the built environment by enabling the student to comprehend the development of spatial design activities from prehistoric times to the present.
