LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT At the end of this course, the students;
1) will be able to evaluate chronogically the development of fashion, clothing and fashion design concepts in the historical process until 19th century.
2) Recognize the concepts concerning fashion.
3) Determine (estimates) the developments of concepts in the historical process.
4) Examine the societies' social, economical, cultural and political developments effect to the fashion according to historical ages
5) will be able to evaluate fashion's effect to the social life and its function in the historical process until 19 th century.
6) Describe the historical process concerning the development of aesthetic conscious from clothing to fashion.
7) Examine the developing fashion conscious effects to social life.
8) Define Turkish clothing history and fashion in the historical process.
9) will be able to evaluate existance development and importance of fashion in the historical process.
10) Determine the fashion importance in this process.
11) Examine the stages that fashion goes through the world in this process.
12) Compare the fashion currents with each other in this process
