At the end of this course, the students; 1) Gain the basic principles, concepts and methods of Basic Design education. 2) Gain the ability to express and develop their observations, impressions, feelings through design and art education by revealing her creative powers. 3) Turn their emotions and intuitions into visual expression activities for the fashion field through basic design education. 4) Carry out designs in this context by transferring visual works in different disciplines to their own field. 5) Makes the works original, away from copying and imitation. 6) Can express themselves comfortably and freely by improving their creativity by using various materials and techniques. 7) Gain the habit of enjoying the work they do and the responsibility of completing the work through their works of art. 8) Develop the ability to solve design problems and produce original ideas.

Performing geometric fragmentation and transformation studies based on design principles and elements. Solving fashion design problems from an analytical point of view.

Pre-study, papercraft work, studio work and critiques for 2D Design. Interpretation of design elements with the language of Fashion Design.

2D Design Elements.

Completion of Papercraft Studies

The design of fashion images, with selected unit forms, light dark, light shade, large-medium-small form balance, are purified and arranged in an artistic context, and the ground-form relationship in geometric fragmentation with the papercraft technique is critical.

Creating new forms and stories that break prejudices and assumptions in the theme of 'Transformation'. Gathering the relevant photographs, drawings and materials to be used in the design, so that any object of importance, its photograph or drawing, is the inspiration for the design.

Evaluation of any selected image in 3D surface form by converting it to another format.
11th Week
Alteration of the selected form or image as a 3d surface through experiments

Stacking the metamorphosed form in the form of figure and clothing, color applications and the effects of color
