LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT	At the end of this course, the students; 1) Gains knowledge about the features of 18th century classical Turkish literature. 2) List the features that distinguish the century from other centuries. 3) Recognize the leading figures of 18th century classical Turkish literature. 4) Recognize the local-folkloric style. 5) Analyze the stylistic differences.

COURSE DEFINITION	This course introduces the literary history of the 18th century, examines the major poetic figures as well as the representative texts from this period.
