LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT |
At the end of this course, the students; 1) Interpret the poems and prose texts they read about the 16th century within the framework of classical Turkish poetry tradition. 2) Distinguish the similarities and divergences of 16th century classical Turkish literature style with previous periods. 3) List the characteristics of the classical style. 4) Recognize the literary personalities of the prominent poets of the period.
